History
On the night of December 24, 1999, my father and I became aware of the worrisome situation in the world of maguey-mezcal. The producers were harvesting without principles of sustainability, affecting the continuity of the cycle of this wonderful agavacea.

We decided to take action and planted maguey endemic to the region on rented land. After six years of cultivation, we began to harvest and produce our own mezcal. In 2007 we acquired virgin land in Atetetla, Municipality of Huitzuco, Guerrero, where we built the mezcal factory 'La Compañía'.

Since then, we have developed the ESTRENO brand, which has gained recognition and acceptance both locally and in national and international markets.

Our approach is based on sustainable production and quality, using exclusively our own cultivated magueys. Each step in this fascinating journey has been one of learning and dedication, which is reflected in every bottle of our quality mezcal.
